An awareness session on advocacy and lobby building for the children was organised at ICDP, Santoshpur. The session was facilitated by resource person from Childline. 25 children participated in the program.






Like every year this year also the children of our Centre observed Janmashtami, the birth of Lord Krishna. The Mothers group Members sang songs and the children put up a medley.











A Stake holders meeting was organised on 12.8.22 at Manasi Hall Santoshpur. 135 participants were present which included Youth Group, Self Help Group, Cluster Level Association, Local Club Members, Representatives from Ward Councillors Office, Rotarians and Staff of LGWCDC. Mothers of creche children of IH project prepared Rakhis which their children tied on each others hands. This a event which is observed in India to promote communal harmony and brotherhood.











Through the CSR of Tata Consultancy Services LGWCDC started an Adult Literacy Training Program in its Lake Gardens and Santoshpur units. Total 22 women are undergoing the 3 month course. The course comprises of reading , writing and arithmatical components.









on 5.10.21 Members of Saraang Welfare Group visited our Centre and distributed school stationery and chocolates to our creche and remedial coaching children. They also distributed sanitary napkins to our mothers group members.










Like previous years this year also LGWCDC distributed new clothes to all our children beneficiaries and Staff Children before Durga Puja. Initially new dresses were given during Christmas but since Durga Puja is the biggest festival of Bengal and new clothes are associated with it so it was decided that
