On the occasion of National Youth Day, a village cleaning programme was conducted in Sarambai Village under Kashipur Block in Rayagada. A total of 28 youths actively participated in the initiative, demonstrating their commitment to community cleanliness and social responsibility.
Youth volunteers raised awareness against single-use plastic to protect Ganga Sagar Island, the river Ganga, and ocean life. Through poster displays, public announcements (miking) and direct interaction with pilgrims, youths promoted responsible behaviour. A community cleaning drive was organised on 6th & 7th January across three fields (Kankhuli, Padirhati and Bazarpara) in Santoshpur, Maheshtala Municipality. A total of 85 youth members participated to make their area clean, hygienic and reduce diseases.
Federation members visited the Zila Parishad Office and the SDO Office of South 24 Parganas as part of the federation registration process. This step marks important progress toward formalizing the federation’s structure and operations.

The State Youth Consultation held on 27th December was successfully conducted with the enthusiastic participation of more than 80 youth from 8 organizations, including our network partners and other collaborating organizations.

On the Christmas Eve, Creche children swayed to the tunes of Jingle Bells, Mothers Group Members sang “Bishwa Pita Tumi Hey Prabhu”, a video on the Birth of Jesus Christ was played. Children who have been mainstreamed were felicitated with a Certificate of Appreciation and School Stationery items.
On 22nd December 2025, a community cleaning drive was organised across four fields (Kankhuli, Padirhati, 16 Bigha, Bhandaripara) in Santoshpur, Maheshtala Municipality. A total of 98 youth members participated to make their area clean, hygienic and reduce diseases.
A sensitization campaign for 115 community members was organized at the Kankhuli field of Santoshpur. Issues like Gender, Child marriage, Domestic Violence, inequality in relationship, and the POSCO Act, were discussed.
A training session was organised for the newly formed SHG members of Santoshpur locality. The training was conducted in two halves and was attended by a total of 157 group members.
