Through the CSR of Tata Consultancy Services LGWCDC started an Adult Literacy Training Program in its Lake Gardens and Santoshpur units. Total 22 women are undergoing the 3 month course. The course comprises of reading , writing and arithmatical components.

In association with GKB Opticals Vision Rx Lab 3 free eye check up camps were held at Lake Gardens, Tollygunj and Kasba on 19th August, 7th September and 9th September. Around 300 persons were checked of which 150 persons received free spectacles and around 25 persons were referred for cataract
On 4.9.21 members of Tea Talkers Foundation visited our Santoshpur Office and set up a Micro Library at our Balwadi cum Coaching Centre in Kankhuli. They gave around 1000 books which comprised of story books, GK books, Secondary, Higher Secondary Test Papers, Comics etc.
In July and August Covid 19 Awareness was conducted in the community through auto miking and wall postering in all slum pockets of Lake Gardens and Santoshpur. The event was sponsored by Terre des Hommes Germany.
