This year Earth Day was observed in a novel way- through online mode. This was so as the country was under lockdown due to Covid 19 Pandemic. This year marked the 50th year of Earth Day and so a week long activity was planned like making posters , slogans etc.

As LGWCDC believes in the proverb “Healthy mind in Healthy Body” so from time to time we organise health camps for children and community members. One such dental camp was organised on 26.10.19. Doctors who are members of the Indian Dental association came and did the dental check up.
In order to empower our SHG members a session was held with them on the importance of saving and opening Bank account in their names. In collaboration with State Bank of India accounts were opened for SHG members.
