State Level Youth Workshop in Bally Island
A State level Youth Workshop was organized in collaboration with Nature Environment & Wildlife Society on October 14' & 15 '2023 at Bally Island of Sundarban. Tow days workshop's agneda were:
- Sharing of final document of GC-26
- To draft State Charter of Demand" for National Youth Workshop,
- To build capacity on nature based solution,
- Rehearsal for debate on 4 topics provided for the National Youth Workshop,
- Sharing about Youth For Ecological Sustainablity (YES) and last five youths convention and its objective.
20 youths from Kolkata,South 24 Pargana(including three sialnds of Sundarban) and North 24 Pargana participated in the workshop.
Decision taken:
- Translation of Gc-26 final document in hindi and bengali within 31st October and sharing with the local groups by 15th November 2023.
- Trasnlation of Charter of demand in both the language and sharing with local groups.
- Three proposal submission ,one from each zone in next state level Youth Workshop which will be held in December.
