Since the past 5 years Jungle Crows Foundation has been organising Rugby Winter Camp at Crows Field, Maidan, Kolkata. This year also they organised the camp and invited children from LGWCDC to participate. 60 Children participated in the camp for 3 days. All were provided with T shirts from JCF.
Youth Capacity Building training on Biodiversity at Henry Island, Bakkhali on 21-22 December 2023.35 youths participated in the workshop. This year Lake Gardens WCDC, Kolkata completed 30 yrs on the 6th of July 2022. On this occasion our Annual Day Program was held on 18th November 2022 at Aban Mahal, CLT Hall, Dhakuria , Kolkata. The Children, youth and Women Group members of our Centre put up cultural performances.
On 30th September 2022,Members of Rotaract club of Calcutta Sutanuti,RID 3291 distributed new clothes,cakes and biscuits to our creche children.
A Health awareness session along with routine deworming camp was held at ICDP, Santoshpur. 94 women and children attended the camp. All the children were given vitamin and deworming medicine while the women were given vitamin and iron tablets.
An awareness session on how to prepare liw cost nutritious food with locally available vegetables was organised at ICDP, Santoshpur. 40 SHG members attended the session.
