Workshop with youth group
A one-day workshop on Child Rights, UNCRC, and Climate Change was successfully conducted on 29th July 2026 with 25 youth participants in Tangra.
The sessions covered the basics of child rights, the four guiding principles of the UNCRC, key Indian child protection laws (POCSO, Child Labour Act, RTE, JJ Act, and Child Marriage Act), and the link between climate change and children's rights through interactive activities, case studies, and group discussions.
The workshop also featured the presentation and analysis of a youth-led community waste management survey, highlighting key findings and recommendations to improve local waste management practices.
