CACL Partners meet

A meeting of CACL Partners, West Bengal was held in 16th February 2026 at the Office of LGWCDC Kolkata. Discussion focused on Status of implementation of Policies and Acts in relation to child labour. Nature of labour in urban and rural areas, NEP 2020, Skill Development, new forms of labour practiced by youths, non convergence of different departments within the state and between state and Central govt. Representatives of 10 organizations participated in the discussion and it was moderated by Ms. Koel Chowdhury, Regional Program Coordinator, TdH Eastern Zone.
