Bhabna Network

As a continuation of the Koishore Dol formation process, a workshop was jointly conducted by Jeevika Development Society, Swayam, and LGWCDC, organisations working in the common areas of Metiabruz, Khidirpur, Budge Budge, and Santoshpur. The session aimed to bring together adolescents from these regions under a shared platform.

The purpose of the workshop was to orient adolescents on the concept of networking and the role of the Bhabna Network, understand adolescents’ perspectives on child marriage, including its causes, prevention efforts, and challenges, build youth ownership and encourage collective social action, and identify interested adolescents for the formation of a new Koishore Dol.
