Report on the "Voice for Green Earth" Campaign
Under the Local to Global Project
Date: 23rd June 2025 to 31st June 2025
As part of the Local to Global initiative, a significant environmental awareness campaign titled "Voice
for Green Earth" was conducted from 23rd June 2025 to 31st June 2025. The campaign aimed to
raise awareness about environmental protection, sustainable living, and climate action at the
grassroots level.
One of the major highlights of the campaign was the e-Rickshaw Awareness Drive, which served as a
mobile medium for spreading the message of environmental conservation across rural communities.
Through this innovative initiative, the campaign successfully reached 85 villages, engaging with local
residents and promoting eco-friendly practices.
Various activities were organized during the campaign, including:
Distribution of eco-awareness pamphlets and posters.
Street plays and audio messages on climate change and pollution control.
Interaction sessions with villagers on topics such as afforestation, waste management, and the use
of clean energy.
Encouragement of tree plantation and reduction of plastic usage.
The use of e-rickshaws not only helped reduce the carbon footprint of the campaign itself but also
served as a live demonstration of green transportation methods, inspiring many to consider cleaner
alternatives in their daily lives.
The Voice for Green Earth campaign made a remarkable impact by involving local communities and
creating a ripple effect of environmental consciousness. It effectively demonstrated how local
actions can contribute to global environmental goals, in line with the vision of the Local to Global
Project.
