Health check up camp was organized at ICDP office santoshpur on 18th September 2023. General check up was conducted for cough, cold, fever, worms, skin diseases, water bone diseases, etc. 46 community children women and men attended the camp.

In our Project area kankhuli, Santoshpur our Cluster Level Association Unnati hoisted the National Flag by singing the National Anthem with the Children of Coaching Centre and other community Children. A small discussion was held on how India got its Freedom. The children were distributed sweets.

Kanyashree is an initiative taken by the Government of West Bengal to improve the life and the status of the girls by helping economically backward families with cash so that families do not arrange the marriage of their girl child before eighteen years because of economic problem. International Youth Day was observed by the Youth Network of all the 3 states of West Bengal, Orissa and Jharkhand through various activities. On 3rd August, ICDP Project Team started an Income Generation Training for Women in Basic Tailoring, cutting and sewing. The Course will be of 14 days. 6 women are participating in the training. on successful completion of the training all women will be awarded a Certificate and will be provided
