Nature Based Business Start Up- Rethread Revolution
LGWCDC with support from TdH and BMZ set up a Nature based Start Up named Rethread Revolution. This start up aims to reduce the plastic waste by preparing different types of cloth bags. The initiative has been taken up by Youth Group members of Pehchan Foundation at Titagarh, 24PGS(N), West Bengal, India. The Start up was inaugurated on 27th October 2024 by Mr.Naushad Alam , Councillor of Ward 54 and Ms.Suranjana Basu Das, Jt.Secretary & Ex-Officio Director of LGWCDC. The NBS Set up was also visited by Ms.Koel Chowdhury , Regional Program Coordinator, Eastern Zone, TdH, Mr.Rohit Rakshit, Program Officer ,TDH,Eastern Zone, Ms.Sandra &Ms.Juan from Luxemborg.
