Community Cleaning Drives – February 2026

Community cleaning drives were conducted at Aynalpara and Kankhuli in Santoshpur, Maheshtala Municipality, with the participation of 45 community members in total.

The initiatives focused on promoting cleanliness and hygiene within the community. Participants were encouraged to keep small dustbins in their homes, dispose of garbage in Municipality vats, and maintain a clean surrounding environment. Discussions were also held on community sanitation practices, and bleaching powder was spread in the areas as part of the cleanliness drive.

The programme aimed to create awareness about proper waste management and encourage collective responsibility towards a cleaner and healthier community.
