The evening handicraft & fabric classes are going pretty well.
On 13th March 2026, under the Youths in Social Action budget, tap installation and repair work was carried out in four Panchayats—Mangalichak, Kura Nawada, and Mohanchak. Around 38 new taps were installed, and 23 taps were repaired to improve access to safe water within the communities.
A local-level advocacy programme was organised at Dumaritanand, Koderma, with the participation of youths from two villages. The programme provided a platform for young people to discuss community issues, share their perspectives, and encourage collective action for local development and social change.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, various programmes and activities were organised across the fields of Lake Gardens Women & Children Development Centre, like, Sakraicha, Shahpur, Mangalichak, and Kura Nawada villages, as well as at the Head Office. Women and female parents of youths actively participated in sports activities,
Climate Literacy Sessions were conducted in Titagarh and Santoshpur with the participation of 25 and 23 youths respectively. The sessions began with interactive self-introduction activities where participants connected themselves with different environmental elements such as trees, birds, rivers, and islands, helping them reflect on their relationship with nature
